miCon-L

What is miCon-L?
miCon-L is a graphical programming software for BARTH® lococube® mini-PLC of the STG series. In miCon-L, function blocks which include technical signs and symbols, are connected into networks.
Programming
In miCon-L, function blocks are connected data-flow oriented, forming a block diagram. The application is then downloaded onto the mini-PLC and translated into machine-readable code.
The logic processing and high recognizability of function blocks, make starting out with miCon-L easy and approachable. Knowing a programming language is not required. The design of the function blocks is based on exisiting graphical specifications and technical languages.
Structure blocks allow a hierarchical structure of projects. By adding a exporting projects, existing structure blocks can easily be reused.

Simulation, Test, and Run Mode
In Simulation mode, the application can be debugged and checked for errors, without needing to connect a mini-PLC.
After the network of structure and function blocks is designed, it can be downloaded onto the BARTH® lococube® mini-PLC. The application can be monitored and debugged in real time. Special visualization blocks allow monitoring of transmitted signals and their values, aiding in debugging and error checking.
